OUR SAFETY STANDARDS
COMMITMENT TO SAFETY STANDARDS
At PCCS we are committed to providing high safety standards and a healthy workplace for all staff & visitors. To meet this commitment, PCCS will work to control risks to workplace health and safety. They will identify potential hazards, assess the risks, and take steps to manage hazards at their source. To judge the level of risk, you need to look at two things. First, consider what would happen if a hazard turned into an incident. Second, think about how likely that incident is to happen.
COMPLYING WITH SAFETY STANDARDS
Perth Commercial Cleaning Services is dedicated to following all safety standards, laws, regulations and state requirements. We also adhere to codes of practice. We do this by identifying and evaluating safety, quality and environmental risks before we start.
The principles of our WHSMP are in five categories. They are part of a process for continuous improvement. These categories are: Policy and Commitment, Planning, Implementation, Measuring Performance, and Performance Review.
WORKPLACE HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT PLAN
Perth Commercial Cleaning Services (PCCS) has created a Workplace Health and Safety Management Plan (WHSMP). This plan follows ISO 4500 principles. It offers a strong framework for managing health and safety risks. The goal is to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
This WSMP considers laws across Australia. It is made to find and manage hazards and risks to people and the environment affected by our work.
HAZARD AND RISK MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES
PCCS is dedicated to finding and managing risks early. These risks can harm people or the environment. They may also affect our promise of excellence and quality service.
PCCS talks with staff and other important people at every stage of managing hazards and risks. This gives them a chance to help find solutions and improve systems.
Training is an ongoing process at PCCS and is carried out to enable our staff to keep abreast of any changes to work processes, legislation and WHS issues.
HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS
All chemicals used by PCCS staff are managed in accordance with the appropriate safety data sheet. A risk assessment is made to identify hazards and develop controls for the safe use and storage while on site.
All substances brought to the site will be recorded by the supervisor. Safe handling procedures will be included in pre-work safety talks and relevant documents.
